Jessica C. Tully, Esq., broker-owner of the Virgin Islands Property Group, LLC, has been awarded the prestigious Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification. The RSPS certification is a nationally-recognized certification awarded by the National Association of REALTORS® to real estate professionals who wish to demonstrate and promote – to consumers and their peers alike – their expertise in the resort and second-home specialty.

Tully joins more than 4,000 real estate professionals who have earned the RSPS certification. REALTORS® who receive the RSPS certification have successfully completed the Resort & Second-Home Specialist (RSPS) Certification Course. She now joins other real estate professionals who specialize in buying, selling, or managing second-homes in a resort, recreational, and/or vacation destination and properties for investment, development, or retirement.

LOCAL REALTOR® AWARDED RENE CERTIFICATION

 St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, August 20, 2020 -- Jessica C. Tully, Esq., broker-owner of the Virgin Islands Property Group, has been awarded the Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certification, the premier negotiation credential in the country. 

The RENE is conferred by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI) and is an official certification of the National Association of REALTORS®.  Jessica joins an elite group of real estate professionals from around the world who have earned the RENE certification. All were required to successfully complete comprehensive coursework in negotiation and subscribe to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.

RENE is wholly owned by REBI and focuses specifically on real estate sale negotiation. Formerly the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers (CRB), REBI is a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. The VIP Group caters to buyers who are purchasing property in the USVI.  We have a Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist Certification from the National Association of Realtors to better assist our clients.  The USVI is largely a resort and second-home market, which differs in a number of ways from a primary residential market.  Buyer interest ranges from purchasing small condos for family vacations to purchasing luxury properties for investment purposes.  Buying, selling, or managing second homes in a resort, recreational, and vacation destination requires understanding of the recreation and lifestyle market, tax treatment of vacation and second homes, and real estate investment.
